Who are the courses for?
They are for drivers, household vehicle owners, and workshop learners who want a structured introduction to car-jack equipment and preparation.
Do the courses replace a vehicle manual?
No. The manual remains the primary source for approved lifting points, capacities, wheel procedures, and vehicle-specific warnings.
Can I practice without lifting a vehicle?
Yes. Our beginner practice path includes dry runs for tool identification, surface checks, communication, and stop points without placing a load on a vehicle.
What equipment do I need?
Start with your vehicle manual and the equipment supplied or recommended for that vehicle. Several courses discuss jacks, chocks, support stands, lighting, gloves, and storage.
How do I choose a course?
Beginners can start with Car Jack Foundations or the Guided Beginner Practice Session. Learners with workshop experience may prefer Trolley Jack Basics or a vehicle-specific planning lesson.
Are the courses live?
The catalog describes self-paced digital lessons and practice notes. Contact us if you need help selecting a sequence.
What should I do in an unsafe roadside situation?
Move to a safe location when possible, follow local emergency guidance, and contact qualified roadside assistance. Do not begin a lifting task merely because a course exists.
Can I save courses for later?
Use the Follow control in the catalog. Saved course IDs remain in this browser and appear on the Fallows page.
